DominoApp ("we", "the app") is a domino score-keeping app. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, and what choices you have.
1. Who we are
DominoApp is developed by Elvin Azcona Vargas. Contact: info@azconagroup.com.
2. What data we collect
2.1 Account data
- Guest account: when you first open the app, an anonymous session is created (no email or password) so you can use the scorekeeper without signing up. It collects no personally identifiable data beyond an internal session identifier.
- Registered account (email, Google or Apple): your email address and, if you use it, your name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the provider also shares with us the name and profile photo associated with that account; the photo is used as your avatar within the app and you can change it at any time from your profile. Managed by our backend provider, Supabase.
2.2 Profile and game data
- Display name and avatar (the profile photo shared by your provider when you sign in with Google or Apple, one generated automatically via the public DiceBear service, or one you choose from the options we offer).
- Game history, scores, streaks and statistics derived from your use of the scorekeeper.
- If you create or join a Team: the team name, your role within it, and the tournaments you organize or take part in.
2.3 Payment data (Premium subscription)
- Purchases are processed through the App Store / Google Play, managed by RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active/expired, plan) to unlock features — we never see your card or payment information directly.
2.4 Advertising
- Free-plan users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to show ads, subject to the consent we request on your device (see section 5).
- Premium users do not see ads.
2.5 Diagnostics and stability
- We use Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry to receive error/crash reports (device information, operating system, and the error trace) — this helps us fix bugs and does not identify who you are beyond a technical installation identifier.
- We use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications — for example, updates about your teams (new join requests and their approval or rejection). They are only sent if you grant the notification permission the app requests; they require a technical device token (not the content of your messages or those of third parties) and you can turn them off at any time from your device's notification settings.
2.6 Camera (AI tile counting)
- The automatic detection model is in a training and testing phase, and the feature is not yet enabled in the app: the "Count with AI" entry points only show an informational notice. While the feature is not enabled, the app does not access the camera and does not capture, process or store any photo for this purpose.
- Once the feature is enabled: the photo will be processed on your own device, and only if you give your explicit on-screen consent will we store that photo (and the corrected count) in our storage to train the AI model. You will be able to decline without losing the feature — nothing will be saved.
3. What we use your data for
- Operating the scorekeeper and the features of your plan (free or Premium).
- Calculating and showing you your statistics.
- Processing your subscription and applying the corresponding unlock.
- Serving ads (free plan only) and measuring their basic performance.
- Diagnosing errors and improving the app's stability.
- Improving the AI tile detector, once that feature is enabled (only with your explicit per-photo consent).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Who we share data with
Only with the providers needed to operate the app, each under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase (database, authentication, storage) — us-east-1 region.
- Google AdMob (ads) and Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config).
- RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Sentry (error reporting).
- DiceBear (avatar image generation from an identifier, no personal data).
5. Your choices
- Ad tracking (iOS): when using the app you will be asked for tracking authorization (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline; you will still see ads, but less personalized ones.
- Ad consent (EU/UK/some US states): a consent form will be shown before serving personalized ads, depending on your location.
- Deleting your account: in the app, go to Profile → "Delete account" to delete it yourself instantly (this permanently deletes your profile, game history, teams, tournaments and subscription). If you prefer that we do it, or you no longer have access to the app, write to info@azconagroup.com.
- Camera/tile photos: once AI counting is enabled, consent to save your photos will be requested on every use and you will be able to decline without losing the feature. Today the feature is not enabled and no photo is captured.
6. Children
DominoApp is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; we will publish the date of the latest update above.
