Terms of Service

This English translation is provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
By using DominoApp ("the app") you accept these Terms of Service.
1. What DominoApp is
DominoApp is a score-keeping app for domino games (2v2 pairs or individual play, up to 4 independent players), with statistics, teams and tournaments. It is not a game of chance or gambling: it does not process real money between players, does not facilitate betting, and does not determine the outcome of any game — it only records the points you enter.
2. Accounts
- You can use the scorekeeper without registering (guest account).
- Signing up with email, Google or Apple gives you additional features (Teams, tournaments, keeping your history across devices) and the ability to purchase Premium.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for the activity on your account.
3. Free plan and Premium
- The free plan includes the scorekeeper, basic statistics, and shows ads.
- The Premium plan (a paid subscription, managed by the App Store / Google Play through RevenueCat) removes ads and unlocks advanced statistics, Teams and tournaments, plus unlimited AI tile counting once that feature becomes available.
- Premium payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by the policies of the store where you purchased (Apple App Store or Google Play) — we do not handle your payment method directly.
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings in the corresponding store.
4. User conduct
When using Teams, tournaments or any feature where you interact with other users, you agree to:
- Not use offensive, defamatory or illegal names, avatars or content.
- Not cheat in ways that harm other players in organized tournaments.
- Not attempt to breach the app's security or access other users' data.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
5. Content you create
Your profile name and the names of your teams and tournaments are visible to the people you play with or share a team with. You are responsible for that content.
6. AI tile counting
The AI model is currently in a training and testing phase, and the feature is not yet enabled in the app: the "Count with AI" entry points only show an informational notice. While the feature is not enabled, the app does not access the camera and does not capture or store any photo for this purpose. Once the feature is enabled: it will be an assistance tool, not an infallible source of truth — you will always be able to correct the count before confirming it — and, only if you agree to save your photo, that image (and your correction) will be used specifically to train the automatic detector, solely for that purpose (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Intellectual property
The design, code and brand of DominoApp belong to us. You keep the rights to the content you create (names, statistics of your own play).
8. Warranties and limitation of liability
DominoApp is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the app will be error-free at all times (for example, AI counting may fail and require manual correction). To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for disputes between players about the result of a game recorded in the app.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we will publish the date of the latest update above. Continued use of the app after a change implies your acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
11. Language
These Terms of Service are originally written in Spanish, which is the binding language. Any translation into another language is offered solely for the convenience of our users; in case of discrepancy, ambiguity or conflict of interpretation between the Spanish version and any translation, the Spanish version prevails.
